[RECORD LABEL] Canadian emcee Shad beat out Drake, among others, at the Juno Awards on Saturday night in Toronto, Canada to take home the award for Best Rap Album for TSOL. Says Shad about his big win, “I’m surprised. This is like the Emmy going to Theo’s friend Cockroach.” Shad also performed at the Juno Block Party before the award ceremony. This morning, he posted a thank you note to the fans on his blog, recapping his big weekend and dropping a new track with Skratch Bastid titled ‘Give You All I Can’ which you can download here. [IDEA SHOP & PRODUCTION CO.] The good folks over at Chiat/Day tapped us to produce a series of viral clips in support of Nissan’s Juke Studio campaign. The 3 artist clips and 1 intro video were shot in NY and LA and focus on the creative masterminds of Jeremyville, Tristan Eaton and Jim Mahfood all of whom designed original art for the car.
